You lead a busy life. Why spend time on something that doesn’t add value to your life? We get that.
Life has seasons.
In some seasons, being part of a church doesn’t help the soul grow at all.
In other seasons being part of a spiritual community is tremendously helpful.
Perhaps you visited this site because you are in a season of awakened spiritual hunger. You may have found that going it alone has stunted your spiritual growth. If you are feeling an internal nudge to return to church, you may not want to go back to church as you knew it.
As we grow through life’s seasons, different expressions of church match our different stages of growth. NRCC is a community on a spiritual journey that isn’t rigidly bound to one view of how things should be done. It is a gentler and simpler kind of Christian community. We don’t have much tolerance for churchy-ness. We are seeking authenticity, spirituality, and community. If you are coming from a non-practicing season in your life, you may find our journey similar to yours.
If you’re looking for a place to grow, consider NRCC. We have no program to whip you into shape, but we’ll walk with you, we’ll support you, and we’ll see what God unfolds along the way.
If you’re a non-practicing Christian open to reconnecting with a spiritual community, we invite you to visit with us.
